Happy New Year! It is hard to believe that it has been 2 years since the Catholic Women’s League at Our Lady of the Assumption was officially reactivated, however due to the Pandemic sweeping the world, we were unable to develop plans to move forward as a League to support our Parish and various charities.
At 100 years old the League continues to grow and flourish throughout Canada and in our Diocese, and although we have been unable to meet as a group, we are reminded that we are called to grow in faith and to witness the love of God through “Ministry of Prayer and Service.”
As we begin a new year it is now time to renew our membership dues of $30.00 per year. Please place your cheque or cash in an envelope, noting your name and address and place it in the Collection Basket by February 28, 2022. I know we continue to face difficult times, however your continued support as a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Women’s League is very much appreciated. New members are always welcome.
