First Reconciliation Classes

Reconciliation Family Service – “Soup and Stations” Family “Glow in the Dark” Stations of the Cross – March 22nd, 2024 – 6:00pm (Stations at 7:00pm) at Our Lady of the Assumption Church.

Reconciliation Retreat

Children (and families) will receive Sacrament of Reconciliation on this day – Saturday, March 23rd, 2024 (Palm Sunday weekend) at 1:00 pm.

First Communion Classes

  • FIRST COMMUNION 1 – Saturday, April 6th, 2024 – 1:00pm (First Saturday AFTER Easter) – Assumption
  • FIRST COMMUNION 2 – Saturday, April 13th, 2024 – 1:00pm – St. Angela
  • FIRST COMMUNION 3 – Saturday, April 20th, 2024 – 1:00pm – St. Alphonsus
  • FIRST COMMUNION 4 – Saturday, April 27th, 2024 – 1:00pm – Assumption

Cost

We require a fee of $12.50 per Sacrament or $25.00 for both

Payments are accepted at our Family of Parishes main office by:

  • Dropping it off during office hours to 350 Huron Church from Monday to Thursday from 9:00am to noon and 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Please put the child’s first and last name and note it is for Confirmation on the envelope.
  • Doing an e-transfer to assumption@cogeco.net. Please put the child’s first and last name in the notes line.
  • It can also be brought to the first class.

Registration and Photo Release

Please fill out the registration form linked below. The linked photo release must be printed, signed and returned to Lynne Tibor at ltobor@dol.ca as part of the registration process.

First Communion Dates

FIRST COMMUNIONS WILL TAKE PLACE – ANY – MASS at – ALL – CHURCHES DURING THE MONTH OF MAY 2024. An “online” booking system will be set up to reserve a Mass time at the church of the family’s choosing.
