First of All Thank you!

From Fr. Steven – Administrator of Spiritual Affairs, Dcn. Paul – Administrator of Temporal Affairs and our Pastoral Team

We absolutely have to start this newsletter by once again saying a great big thank you to everyone. In a matter of days, Fr. Steven will leave for his new assignment, and we welcome Fr. Timothy Scott CSB to Windsor Heritage.

While the world seems to have moved on from the COVID pandemic, some of our parishes are still being heavily impacted either in terms of attendance or finances. Make no mistake about it; this is a time of continued rebuilding and creating new relationships. It’s a time for outreach to the very edges of our community. It’s a time to welcome new people who have felt the call to worship with us.

Your continuing support for the mission of our family of parishes both financially and with your presence and participation are important now more than ever.

Each parish is different …
Attendance and revenue at Assumption are up.
Finances at St. Angela are improving, but attendance is low.
St. Alphonsus has had great increases in attendance but is not performing well financially and must balance their budget.

The Family Financial Council

Our Family Financial Council has resumed meeting after shutting down during COVID. While the committee is drawn from each parish and community, each member has the responsibility of representing and having oversight over each member of the Family of Parishes.

The committee consists of two members appointed for each of the three parishes in our family and one member from each of the two ecclesial communities.

The current membership is as follows:

Paul Maini (Chair)

Jeanne Langlois

Dominic Roma

Frank Gualtieri (Temp)

Kwaku Fordjour

Alex Begin

Mary Anne
Langlois-Smith

We have an opening for one parishioner from St. Angela and one from St. Daniel Comboni. Email Deacon Paul for more information.
