In September 2021, Bishop Fabbro established the Truth and ‘Reconciliation Committee to oversee the Diocese’s commitment to healing and reconciliation, including the collection and distribution of funds for our share of the Canadian bishops’ Indigenous Reconciliation Fund. Our diocese has committed to raise and distribute $1.8 million for indigenous communities and organizations in the diocese.
This year the collection will take place on the weekend of September 28th and 29th.
